Sequentially Lifan KP 165 took place in their updated product line. Lifan is one of the trusted and well-reputed Chinese motorcycle brands that produce a wide variety and capacity of motorcycles. Lifan KP 165 – Physical Attributes:

In Bangladesh, Lifan KP 165 actually is conveying the third generation of the Lifan KP series where KP150 and KP150 V2 have a very successful history in this market. In the looks & design, the Lifan KP 165 is a very decently designed naked sports motorcycle that features a very aggressive & sporty look and design. The entire exterior including the fuel tank, headlamp assembly, side panels, and seat of the motorcycle is very nicely designed and those are actively carrying the iconic physical attributes of the Lifan KP Series. 

Accordingly, Lifan KP 165 holds the same iconic shaped fuel tank but it is nicely designed and enhanced with extensive tank cowling from both sides, and those are vented to support the better cooling of the engine. Next, the Y-shaped side panels are crafted up to the rear and it’s now nicely exposed with a dual-tone sharp color scheme. Here the seat is a single-piece unit that is comfortable and nicely curved for the rider and the passenger that looks sporty and aggressive too.

Here the headlamp assembly also is remaining iconic and quite in the same shape as was in previous, hereafter the parking lights are nicely attached under the chin. It gave the motorcycle an identical look even in the daytime and thus the bike got an alien-like look at twilight. The headlight is DC-powered and much more powerful than the previous version and now it comes with a projector setup. Coming to the tail the light is also is LED unit where the clear lens indicators are much attractive as comes with other bikes in the series.

Coming to the instrument panel it’s a completely new unit that is a digital-analog combo meter and it comes with nice colored backlit illumination features. Coming to the rests, especially on the controlling features, Lifan KP 165 comes with completely an upright riding setup. It featured an upright pipe handlebar that is fitted with decent-quality switches and control levers. Hence overall the bike is composed with an updated color scheme, design & graphics that definitely got a new identity even being iconic to the series. Lifan KP 165 – Engine Performance & Features

The new Lifan KP 165 comes with a bigger capacity engine that is a 165cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that features a bore & stroke of 62mm x 57.8mm. The engine is featured with a compression ratio of 9.3:1 and the clutch is multi-plate wet type. The engine can be ignited both with the manual kick starter and also has the electric start system. The transmission is featured with 5-speed gear with the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5.

The engine is now much more refined even being an air-cooled engine. Hence it performs better than the older series of air-cooled KP150. It squeezes the maximum power of 14HP@7,000RPM and the maximum torque of 13Nm@6,500RPM. The performance figure is decent enough that also can deliver a significant range of top speed as well as a decent figure of fuel economy around 40kmpl.
